Designing Web Services with the J2EE 1.4 Platform一书是Java BluePrints发布的（还记得BluePrints的PetStore吗?）。这本书介绍了如何在J2EE 1.4版本下使用JAX-RPC、SOAP、XML等技术开发web service，以及相关的架构、设计、开发指导和实例。

这本书目前可以免费下载了，下载地址是：https://blueprints.dev.java.net/books.html 。但是Sun的下载做的真的是不好，不是整本书，而是分章节的，好在章节不多。
