在VERYCD上找到了点好东西，才想起还没有装驴子。看论坛上mldonkey呼声很高，大有盖过amule的势头，忍不住也装了个。

search了一下源，有mldonkey-server和mldonkey-gui，前端和后端是分开的。不用GUI也可以在后台运行，很方便。有个界面还是直观点，于是也装上了。

sudo apt-get install mldonkey-server mldonkey-gui

装完后启动了GUI，还真是简单得可怜，一些高级配置还是需要去改配置文件，不好用。换个GUI去，Google一下，找到sancho

默认下载目录还是只能在配置文件里改：gedit downloads.ini

默认的下载目录是 ~/.mldonkey/incoming

下载安装运行，很不错，有了这个，基本不用命令行和修改配置文件了。换成中文界面，优化了下网络参数，作了个ED2K-port的端口映射。重启，HighID～～～

据说这个驴子速度超快。期待，晚上回来再使唤它干活～～

今天在Ubuntu下用Evince浏览PDF中文文档时出现乱码，google到了解决办法，这个做个备忘。

去http://poppler.freedesktop.org/下载一个最新的poppler encoding data，本文发布时最新版本为：poppler-data-0.2.1.tar.gz

1、解压文件：tar -zxvf poppler-data-0.2.1.tar.gz
2、进入解压目录：cd poppler-data-0.2.1/
3、编译安装：sudo make install datadir=/usr/share

1、首先安装samba和smbfs

      sudo apt-get install samba smbfs

2、修改samba配置文件（备份原文件）

      sudo cp /etc/samba/smb.conf /etc/samba/smb.conf.orig
      sudo gedit /etc/samba/smb.conf 
      查找：; security = user 这一行，改为：security = share

3、重启samba服务

      sudo /etc/init.d/samba restart

这样就可以共享文件了，操作方法和windows下基本一样，在文件夹上点击右键会有共享选项，设置一下就行了。

注意：由于权限问题，共享的目录只能在当前用户目录中。

这是以security = share方式实现的简单共享，如果需要给不同用户分配共享文件的访问权限，应使用security = user方式。

昨天晚上终于把windowXp请出了硬盘，换上了ubuntu。光驱不巧坏了，只好借了一个。

直接光盘启动就开始装了，建议把网线拔掉后安装，不用检测网络安装语言包之类的。等系统安装完了，换个源再下载语言包会快的多。80G的硬盘boot分区100M，交换分区1G，根分区20G，tmp分区3G，var分区7G，home分区10G，其他的docs分区。大概20分钟左右就安装完了。

可以先把root密码设定一下：sudo passwd root

换个软件源，准备更新下系统，安装点软件。

备份：sudo cp /etc/apt/sources.list /etc/apt/sources.list_backup
编辑；sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
更新：sudo apt-get update

然后安装中文支持，包括语言包和输入法：

首选项-语言，然后把“中文”勾上，应用后系统就系统开始下载安装了。

输入法安装完以后可以把整个系统更新一下，Ubuntu-8.04的内核已经不是最新的了，另外Firefox3还是beta版。

sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

注意：使用 apt-get upgrade 和 apt-get dist-upgrade 的结果，基本上是相同的，但是apt-get dist-upgrade 在升级的同时会为了解决相依性而安装新套件，而 apt-get upgrade 并不会，对于新系统的升级，建议使用apt-get dist-upgrade，也可以通过新立得软件管理器来升级，这个更方便。

系统升级后，内核更新了。Firefox3也升级到了正式版。

然后需要安装些常用的软件，待续……

以前也用了好一阵的ubuntu了，感觉很不错。后来由于论文关系，需要用到ms word之类的东西，只好又转到windows下了，顺便把CS和WE装上了过了把瘾。马上要毕业了，暂别游戏，回归ubuntu……

本打算这次装个fedora体验下，顺便熟悉下RedHat AS的操作，无奈combo坏了，换了个cdrom。刚好又只有ubuntu的cd和fedora的dvd，天意。

等这次安装完了一定要做个备忘。“apt-get”，我似乎还记得这个，汗~

似乎六级过后就没有看过英语了，看美剧大多时候也是看中文字幕。BTW：最近美剧又有更新了，HERO、Prison Break 新的一季又开始了。不过最期待的是ROME。很黄很暴力，但是很真实。我喜欢的风格。

从今天开始每天“挤”出一小时学习英语，坚持下去，前途一片光明。话说英语这东西还是很有用了，说不定将来去个外企，或是找个洋妞，也不枉每天一小时的努力。不管动机如何，好好学习总是不会错的。

希望不会在今后的某一天，出于羞愤删除了这篇日志。

其实不单是wordpress，任何网站都可以在URL地址前面显示个性图标。只需要将favicon.ico文件上传到网站根目录就可以实现。也可以每个页面使用不同的图标。

在页面的head标签内放入一下代码：

具体到wordpress的模板，分两步完成：

PS：Photoshop默认是不能编辑和制作ico文件的，但是可以通过插件来实现。下载ICOFormat.8bi，放到Photoshop安装目录下的“增效工具/文件格式”子目录（英文版为“Plug-Ins\File Formats”目录），重启Photoshop，搞定~

据说是2007年最惨淡的电影，看完后的感觉是国外的英雄形象比较真实，起码没有神化，可以看到人性的脆弱。

场面算得上宏大，动画制作很细致，重点是音乐。尤其是王后为贝奥武夫壮行时吟唱的那一段，可以用动人心弦来形容。

换了个新硬盘，下了个xampp装上。不用apache、mysql、php单独安装配置了。MySQL的root密码为空，可以通过MYSQL_HOME/bin目录中的mysqladmin工具来修改：

mysqladmin -u root -p password YOUR_PASSWORD_HERE

然后会提示输入当前的root密码，直接回车就行了。

网上还有其他的方法，顺便转过来：

进入MySQL，然后使用下面的命令：

grant   select   on   *.*   to   root@’%’   identified   by   “YOUR_PASSWORD_HERE”;   
   
grant   select   on   *.*   to   root@localhost   identified   by   “YOUR_PASSWORD_HERE”;  

Unix/Linux可以通过安全模式进入MySQL：

关闭MySQL：killall -TERM mysqld

安全模式进入：bin/safe_mysqld –skip-grant-tables &

更新root密码：
>use mysql
>update user set password=password(”new_pass”) where user=”root”;
>flush privileges;

重启MySQL服务

Apache中修改目录时，需要修改如下两个地方： 

DocumentRoot “D:/xampp/htdocs”

<Directory “D:/xampp/htdocs”>

只修改一处会出现无访问权限的问题。
