I bought the AC30 hotspot device half years ago by which I can get connected to the internet, I think It's stable ,easy to use most of the time.
I could not find any problem with ac30 in Shanghai, with the same SIM card ,when I use at home, Xuzhou city, Jiangsu province,I cannot surf the web with any browser, for example www.sina.com.cn etc but I am able to acess the m.taobao.com www.blogjava.net etc, I am really puzzled with this and It provides the evidence that the SIM card has not had any problem.The China Telecom SIM card which I purchased is for use in Xuzhou, and by the AC30, I can gain access to the QQ ,MSN ,stock software,though the internet websites is not accessiable. I have tried my HP laptop(6530b), HTC G18,Sumsang i9003, they have the same problem, But with the Moto ME865, there are no problems at all,that means I can surf the internet freely. and I think the MOTO is one really powerful device and from the beginning , I thought It's the DNS problem. I reset the DNS ,but the problem still persists, that's why I tend to think It's the problem of the AC30 software. View the information of WAN, WLAN and Device, The primary and secondary DNS is 61.177.7.1 and 218.2.135.1 for Jiangsu telecom. and It seems that the parameter settings have been preset by service provider and could not change. I have tested the AC30 connectivity in every city of Jiangsu, It fails. and when I get into the shanghai city, the service provider changes , and DNS is renewed, then I am able to get access to the website.
I have consulted the ZTE company and they suggest getting my device and test and else they promise nothing. I hope It's the problem of the software and the company is developing new versions.
A few months later, I bought huawei EC315 instead, It has no problem using the same SIM Card, now I can surf the website freely.
